I saw this recipe somewhere in a magazine, then couldn’t find it again. I must have been off my beat, because I didn’t rip it out and pocket it (my apologies to waiting rooms everywhere for missing pages). I started making these during football season last year, and have since made them more times than I can count. Again, a stupid easy “recipe” that I can’t even bring myself to call an actual recipe. And, the possibilities are endless!
So Many Options!
These take little to no time to make, and will disappear off your treat table in a heartbeat. This is one of those recipes that the combinations are endless. I’ve detailed Pizza Bombs here, but you could use Alfredo, Thai peanut, Ranch, or just about any sauce you love. On the protein side, these would be great with rotisserie chicken, or even pulled pork. I’d even go so far as to say you could go vegetarian by stuffing with your favorite sauce, sautéed vegetables and a delicious melting cheese. O.k. one more…stuff a marshmallow and some hazelnut spread inside, wrap it up and bake. Arrange on a pretty platter, and give it all a dusting of powdered sugar, maybe a drizzle of melted chocolate.
